Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reminded the newly appointed junior officers to be aware of the enormous responsibility they now bear as the pillars of hope for the Indonesian people.
"In his address, the Head of State reminded the young officers of the enormous responsibility they now bear, noting that they are not merely academy graduates but figures who are the hope of all Indonesians," Teddy said when contacted by ANTARA on Thursday.
President Prabowo led the 2025 Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Republic of Indonesia National Police (Polri) Officer Commencement Ceremony (Praspa) which took place in the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace.
During the ceremony, 2,000 prospective young officers were officially inaugurated. They included 827 graduates of the Military Academy (Akmil), 433 graduates of the Naval Academy (AAL), 293 graduates of the Air Force Academy (AAU), and 447 graduates of the Police Academy.
