Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admitted he was impressed with the quality of his new teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold's crossing and called the English defender a nightmare for goalkeepers.
Alexander-Arnold registered his first assist for Madrid in a 1-0 win over Juventus at the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States, his pinpoint cross being converted by Gonzalo Garcia for the only goal of the match.
“As a goalkeeper, he can be a nightmare,” Courtois was quoted as saying by ESPN. “He keeps us on our toes and makes us work hard. But that also makes us improve.”
The 25-year-old joined Madrid from Liverpool ahead of the tournament and has started all of Madrid's games so far, both at right-back and in midfield.
