Dutch rider retains yellow jersey until third stage of TdBI

Dutch rider from the Victoria Sports Pro Cycling Philippines team, Jeroen Meijers, defended the yellow jersey in the third stage of the 2025 Tour de Banyuwangi Ijen (TdBI) international cycling race in Banyuwangi, East Java.

Even though he finished seventh in the third stage, Jeroen Meijers remained the fastest since the first stage (125.5 km), the second stage (158.8 km) and today's third stage (140 km) with an accumulated time of 9 hours 37 minutes 54 seconds.

Apart from maintaining the yellow jersey or Ijen Sulfur Jersey (Yellow Jersey) as a marker for the race leader, the blue jersey (Blue Fire Jersey/Green Jersey) also marks the best sprinter.

Meanwhile, Italian rider Nicolo Pettiti (Swatt Club Italia) also maintains the Polka Dot Jersey as the best marker on the climbs (King of the Mountain).

In the three-day stage, Australian rider Carter Bettles, who plays for the Roojai Insurence Thailand team, was the fastest in the 2025 TdBI international cycling race.
