Google Cloud has officially launched a security operations center ( SOC ) that is now fully operational in Indonesia to provide data protection for highly regulated companies.
"The main function of this launch is to enable Google's platform to be used by organizations with stricter regulations. For example, in the financial industry and others, where data must be stored in Indonesia," said Marcel Judodihardjo, a security consultant for Google Cloud Indonesia.
The cybersecurity situation in Indonesia is currently facing several major challenges, such as a flood of cyber threats, system fatigue due to too many alerts, and a shortage of cybersecurity experts.
