Indonesian U-23 national team coach Gerald Vanenburg confirmed that striker Jens Raven can be fielded when facing the Philippines in the second match of Group A of the ASEAN U-23 Championship which will be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK.
This was confirmed by Vanenburg after Raven's condition was previously questioned due to cramps, when he became the hero by scoring six goals in the 8-0 victory over Brunei Darussalam.
"Jens Raven had some muscle issues. However, he's feeling better now. So, we can play him normally tomorrow," Vanenburg told the media during the U-23 national team's training session at Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium.
The match against the Philippines will be crucial for both teams, as the winner will have a great chance to secure a place in the semifinals.
