Italian League club Juventus officially announced the arrival of Francisco Conceicao on a permanent transfer from Portuguese club FC Porto in this summer's transfer window.
Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Juventus tied the Portuguese right-winger to a five-year contract or until June 2030.
The move comes just weeks after Conceicao's loan spell ended with Juventus' successful participation in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, meaning Conceicao will now remain on a permanent deal that has been signed and formalized.
The 22-year-old joined Juventus in the 2024/2025 season on loan from Porto without an option to make the deal permanent, costing the Bianconeri 10 million euros (Rp189 billion).
During his loan spell with Juventus in the 2024/2025 season, he appeared in 40 matches across various competitions, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in a total of 2,277 minutes of playing time.
Previously, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano's report last week, Juventus' offer of 30 million euros (approximately Rp. 569 billion) was accepted by Porto and will be paid in four installments.
Although there is an agreement between the two clubs, this does not activate the release clause because Francisco Conceicao's transfer fee must be paid immediately.
Previously, according to a report by Portuguese media outlet O Jogo, quoted from Football Italia, Porto had previously offered a transfer scheme of 32 million euros (approximately Rp. 608 billion) to be paid in three installments.
The certainty of the 30 million euro transfer means Francisco Conceicao must provide written confirmation that he will not accept the full 20 percent reduction of the transfer fee that he would have received if the move was completed outside the release clause.
Conceicao reportedly agreed to accept only a bonus of 3 million euros on his transfer fee, half of what he would have received if Juventus had activated his release clause.
