Bali United youngster Made Tito Wiratama has set his sights on securing a starting spot in the team's midfield for the 2025/2026 season after battling through a lengthy recovery from injury.
"I'm a young player who's just joined, and I'm highly motivated to lead my hometown team to victory in League 1 again this season," Tito said in Gianyar, Bali, on Thursday.
Moreover, he continued, Bali United now has a new coaching team from the Netherlands, making the Bali United U-18 graduate even more motivated to get a main position in midfield.
The 21-year-old player from Buleleng Regency, Bali, was previously on hiatus after suffering a knee injury.
He suffered consecutive injuries in the last two seasons, namely a seven-month break in the 2024/2025 season and a four-month break in the previous season to undergo recovery.
The player with the number 55 on his back experienced a knee problem while competing in the 2023 AFC Cup and had to undergo surgery.
After being declared cured, Tito returned to action in the 2024 President's Cup and the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season, playing 11 matches before suffering the same injury again.
