Malut United adds another duo of former Persib players

Malut United has added two former Persib Bandung players, David da Silva and Gustavo Franca, as new recruits ahead of the 2025/26 BRI Super League.

Malut United's COO, in the announcement of Da Silva and Franca's introduction in Ternate on Thursday, believes the two can make a big contribution to Laskar Kie Raha considering they come with ambition and a winning mentality.

Da Silva and Franca join two other former Persib champions, Ciro Alves and Tyronne del Pino, who were previously announced by Malut United. Both Brazilians signed two-year contracts with Malut United.

Da Silva is ambitious to help Malut United win the title, after helping Persib become the best in the top flight of Indonesian football for the past two seasons.

"I hope to achieve success with Malut United. As long as everyone on the team helps each other, the road to the title will be closer," said the player who has been the league's top scorer for the past two seasons.

"It's important for us to work hard at every opportunity. Of course, the competition will be fierce. But if we believe, I'm sure our dreams can come true," Da Silva added.
