The Central Executive Board of the All Indonesia Basketball Association has limited the number of teams participating in the 16 and 18 year old age group (KU) tournament, 3x3 National Circuit held in five cities in Indonesia.
Technical Delegate (TD) 3x3 National Circuit Jamin Mattotoran said the restrictions were made due to time constraints so that the maximum number of men's teams is 16 teams and the women's team is 12 teams, for each KU.
"Please pray and support so that the implementation of this activity runs smoothly and can be useful for the progress of 3x3 basketball in Indonesia," he said in a written statement .
According to Jamin, the national event could be a forum to monitor player development so that it could make it easier for the federation to prepare the Indonesian national 3x3 men's and women's basketball teams.
After this tournament, the best players will be developed by participating in junior to senior championships at the international level.
