Meanwhile, Dewa United advanced to the third-place match with one point, ahead of bottom-placed Persib Bandung on goal difference.
At the start of the first half, Port FC took the initiative by launching various attacks on Dewa United's defense.
However, in a surprising turn of events, in the 10th minute, a mistake by Asnawi Mangkualam was exploited by Taisei Marukawa, who then provided the assist for Stefano Lilipaly to score. The score now stands at 1-0 to Dewa United.
In the 13th minute, Dewa United again threatened the opponent's goal with Taisei Marukawa's shot which went wide of the goal.
Until the 40th minute, Dewa United dominated the chances, but the Port FC defense was still able to anticipate the attacks.
