Xiaomi Indonesia officially launched the Redmi Pad 2 tablet in the Indonesian market starting July 4, 2025.
The tablet provides an experience not only for entertainment, but also as a tool that helps productivity and family education for children.
Xiaomi Indonesia PR Manager Falencia Naoenz during the launch event in Jakarta, Thursday, said that tablets are now very popular among children, not only for entertainment activities, but they are also used to support education or what is called edutainment .
"So we present the Redmi Pad 2 as a solution, where it can be used for edutainment needs and its features have been adjusted to children's needs," said Falencia.

Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with an 11-inch display with 2.5K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate and four speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for eye comfort in long-term use.
The tablet also features a Wireless Extension Display feature that functions as a wireless second screen, which can mirror or display the screen from a laptop or PC, and supports Windows or Mac operating systems. The tablet also supports the use of a stylus that can be used for taking notes or drawing.

Redmi Pad 2 uses the Helio G100 Ultra chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system, which is capable of running various applications for both digital learning applications and gaming , and is equipped with parental control features to monitor children's gadget usage.
Through the control feature, parents can set how long their child can access an application. Xiaomi also connects the feature to the Google system so that parents can limit which applications should not be installed.
The Redmi Pad 2, which is priced starting at IDR 1,999,000, will be available in Indonesia starting July 4.
