The Director of Digital Infrastructure Strategy and Policy at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Denny Setiawan, explained several steps taken as part of the strategy to strengthen the expansion of the 5G network and the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry in Indonesia.
"For 5G development in Indonesia, we are trying to focus on supporting 5G development based on fiberization," Denny said in a panel discussion organized by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy entitled "Unlocking ASEAN's Digital Future: The 5G and AI Imperative" on Tuesday.
Denny said that expanding the network using fiber optics is one of the things being focused on so that the Indonesian people can get a stable and reliable network.
