Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli military force, backed by bulldozers and engineering units, stormed Qabatiya at dawn and began bombing the homes of Muhammad Nazzal, Muhammad Zakarneh, and Wael Lahlouh.

Witnesses said the bombing coincided with the outbreak of sporadic clashes between young men from the town and Israeli forces.

The bombing is part of Israel's policy of demolishing the homes of Palestinians it accuses of carrying out attacks against Israeli targets, a policy human rights organizations describe as "collective punishment."

Israel accused Nazzal and Zakarneh of carrying out a shooting attack in the town of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya, in January, which resulted in the deaths of three Israelis and the injury of others, according to the Israeli account.

Lahlouh is also accused of carrying out a car-ramming attack in the Jordan Valley in August 2024, which resulted in the death of an Israeli settler.

Later, Lahlouh and three others were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted an agricultural room in the village of Seir, south of Jenin, in December 2024.

Muhammad Nazzal and Qutaiba Shalabi were also killed after being besieged inside a house in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, in January. Zakarneh was killed in April 2024 after a chase that lasted several months.

In this context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed various areas of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday evening, raiding several homes and arresting two Palestinians.

Voice of Palestine Radio (government) reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik, east of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and arrested a young man and abused him.

The radio station reported that clashes erupted between the invading army forces and Palestinians in the town. It also stated that Israeli forces also stormed the southern area of the town of Qusra and the village of Tal near Nablus, without reporting any casualties.

In the southern West Bank, the radio reported that the army arrested "citizen Nidaa Mahmoud Abayat (34 years old), while she was in the Tekoa Wilderness (south of Bethlehem)."

Osama Makhamreh, an activist who monitors Israeli violations, said in an information brief that an Israeli occupation army force stormed the town of Karmel, east of Yatta (south of Hebron), and carried out raids and searches of several homes.

He pointed out that settlers stormed "Khirbet (a small village) of Sadat al-Tha'la, in Masafer Yatta (south of Hebron), where they raised weapons at citizens and threatened them with deportation."

Regarding the Birin area, southeast of Yatta, Makhamreh said that Israeli settlers "encroached on citizens' lands and carried out extensive excavation work in the area to expand the settlement."

He added that the village is being subjected to "settlers raiding and assaulting citizens, in addition to vandalizing property, stealing contents, and bulldozing land."

In parallel with the genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 999 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 7,000, and the arrest of more than 18,000, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide left more than 198,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and famine claimed the lives of many, including dozens of children.
