Three martyrs, including a child, were shot by the Israeli occupation forces, and raids continued in West Bank cities.

Two Palestinians were killed and others injured on Wednesday evening by Israeli occupation forces' fire south of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.

Palestine TV (government) reported that "two martyrs and injuries were reported after the occupation forces opened fire on young men in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem." The TV added that "the Israeli occupation forces are holding the two bodies and the individuals who were shot in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem."

Earlier, the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that "a number of young men were injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets on Wednesday evening in the town of Al-Khader." The agency added that "the occupation forces opened fire on young men near the Al-Abara area on the western side of the town... resulting in a number of them being injured, the nature of which is not yet known."

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that the army was preventing its crews from reaching a number of wounded people in the town of Al-Khader.

On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian child was killed and two other Palestinians, including a child, were injured when the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition in the Jenin and Nablus governorates in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported in a brief statement that "the child Ibrahim Imad Ahmed Mahmoud Hamran (14 years old) was martyred by the occupation forces' bullets in the town of Araba, near the city of Jenin," after the Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets at him before arresting him while wounded.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that a 16-year-old boy was "shot in the thigh with live ammunition" during clashes with the Israeli army in the Al-Ain refugee camp, west of Nablus, in the northern West Bank. The society noted that attempts were made to "revive the injured boy's heart and lungs" while he was being transported to the hospital.

Wafa reported a second injury in the camp, "from shrapnel from live bullets in the foot." The injured person was taken to the hospital. The agency added: "The occupation forces have continued their raids on the Ein al-Ain camp and its surroundings since this afternoon, leading to clashes with residents, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas."

Within 48 hours, four Palestinians, including two children, were killed. The Israeli occupation army killed a Palestinian child on Tuesday in the town of Qabatiya, near Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,005 Palestinians and the injury of approximately 7,000 others, according to Palestinian data.

This coincides with a genocidal war waged by Israel in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which has left more than 202,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, and a famine that has claimed the lives of many.
