Trump: Food must be delivered to Gaza's children, and we will deal with Israel regarding food centers.

Trump stated that Israel and the United States are working together to try to fix things in Gaza, as he put it, and reiterated his talk about the suffering in Gaza, saying that the situation there is "very bad, and the children are hungry and they should have food."

Trump emphasized that the United States had sent funds to support food aid to Palestinians in Gaza, and that he wanted to ensure it was spent properly. He said, "I want to make sure the money is spent wisely and thoughtfully, and the food is distributed properly."

Meanwhile, Trump said he did not discuss with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer Britain's plan to recognize a Palestinian state in September unless Israel takes steps to improve the lives of Palestinians. "We never discussed that," he told reporters aboard Air Force One as he returned to the United States after meeting with Starmer in Scotland.

Trump added that recognizing a Palestinian state would reward the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). He explained, "You're rewarding Hamas if you do that. I don't think they should be rewarded."

Starmer had said earlier on Tuesday that Britain was prepared to recognize a Palestinian state in September at the UN General Assembly, in response to growing public outrage over images of starving children in Gaza.
