Alleged murderer arrested in Mexicali; the victim was his partner

 Mexicali, September 29.- José Enrique “N” was arrested for the alleged femicide against his partner , registered on September 25 in Mexicali, reported the State Attorney General's Office (FGE).

In the coming hours, he will be brought before a Control Judge for a hearing to formulate charges for the crime of femicide.

According to the information, it was last Sunday when José Enrique "N", while in the company of his partner at a home located in the Villas del Rey subdivision, after an argument, took a sharp object and attacked her repeatedly .

In total, the victim's body had 79 stab wounds , which caused him to die in the home.

"The evidence gathered by agents from the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Crimes Against Life was sufficient to request a warrant, which was executed once obtained, resulting in the arrest of the suspect allegedly involved in these events," the FGE reported in a press release.

The arrest of the alleged attacker occurred after investigations carried out by members of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) .
