The General Chairman of the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), Muhammad Arif, stated that currently internet service prices are affordable for all levels of society.
"So, are internet prices in Indonesia affordable? I think they're quite affordable, especially for broadband . Broadband internet prices are almost the lowest. How cheap can it be?" Arif said in Central Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to him, currently the public has been helped by the many internet package options available so that almost everyone can use the internet easily and affordably.
"Almost everyone can use the internet now that the network is available," he said while presenting the results of the 2025 Indonesian Internet Profile survey.
In the 2025 Indonesian Internet Profile survey published by APJII, it was noted that high-income people with incomes above IDR 6 million had the highest penetration rate, namely 91.47 percent, followed by people with incomes of IDR 3.5 million–IDR 6 million at 89.87 percent, and IDR 2.5 million–IDR 3.5 million at 87.63 percent.
