Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria said that increasing investment in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector is a strategic foundation in accelerating digital transformation and driving sustainable national economic growth.
He believes that the ICT sector now plays a key role in opening up new opportunities in strategic sectors, such as health, education, logistics, energy, and government.
"To accelerate economic growth, we must fully utilize the potential of available technology. Therefore, digital transformation is no longer an option but a key driver of economic development," Nezar said in a statement.
Nezar conveyed this when opening the Digital Transformation Indonesia Conference and Expo (DTI-CX) 2025.
The use of technology that is appropriately targeted, he said, can drive significant added value for the national economy.
