Escalating attacks by the occupation army and settlers in the West Bank: shooting, tree cutting, arrests, and raids.

The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that settlers fired live ammunition at Palestinians while they were working their land in the Safaha area of the village of Farkha, south of Salfit. No injuries were reported. They also cut down ancient olive trees in the area, and the Israeli occupation army detained 10 Palestinians following the attack.

In the village of Shalla al-Auja, north of Jericho, the Bedouin Rights Advocacy Organization, Al-Baidar, told WAFA that armed settlers stormed the village and released their livestock among Palestinian homes, damaging their property. This comes as part of escalating attacks aimed at forcibly displacing residents as part of settlement expansion plans in Area C.

In the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank, occupation forces arrested Turki al-Shawahin from the town of Yatta and Amir Mahmoud Hassan Ashniour from the town of Adh Dhahiriya, after raiding their homes. They also raided the towns of Dura and Al-Arroub refugee camp, setting up military checkpoints at the entrances to the governorate's towns, searching Palestinian vehicles, and detaining a number of young men before releasing them.
