Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Utrecht advanced to the third round of the 2025/2026 Europa League qualifying season after eliminating their opponents in the second leg of the second round.
In the second leg of the second round, Shakhtar Donetsk won 2-0 against Turkish side Besiktas at the Miejski im. Henryka Reymana Stadium in Krakow, Poland, according to UEFA records.
Shakhtar Donetsk managed to win thanks to goals scored by Kevin and Kaua Elias in the first half against Besiktas, which was guarded by goalkeeper Mert Gunok.
Statistically, Shakhtar Donetsk was superior to Besiktas, having 56 percent possession and a total of 12 shots, four of which were on target.
This victory made Shakhtar secure a place in the third round of Europa League Qualifiers with a 6-2 aggregate victory after Besiktas won 4-2 at home.
