Five Indonesian rock climbing athletes qualified for the round of 16 in the Single Speed 4 event at the 2025 Chengdu World Games in Tianfu Park, China.
In the simultaneous wall climbing speed competition with four participants in each heat, Veddriq Leonardo, Nursamsa Raharjati, Kiromal Katibin from the men's group advanced to the quarterfinals.
Likewise with the women's sector, when Rajiah Sallsabillah and Desak Made Rita Kusuma qualified for the round of 16.
Kiromal Katibin became the athlete who achieved the second fastest record in this event with 4.96 seconds, below Jian Guo Long who scored 4.93 seconds.
Nursamsa was in fourth fastest position in the qualifying round with 4.976 seconds.
Veddriq recorded a time of 5.28 seconds in 18th position, while Alfian Muhammad Fajri failed to qualify with a time of 5.414.
