The Secretary General of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation Central Executive Board Wahyu Pristiawan Buntoro said that the federation is targeting gold medals in the speed single and relay events at the 2025 Chengdu World Games in China.
He explained that the eight athletes, consisting of four men and four women each, were invited by the organizers based on their respective achievements in 2024, so their abilities have been recognized and they have the potential to win medals.
"FPTI is targeting gold medals in Chengdu in two categories: individual speed and team relay ," said the man often called Pristiawan when contacted.
He further explained that the sports competed in the World Games are popular sports that are not competed in the Olympics.
