Head of the Defense Information Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense Brigadier General Frega Wenas Inkiriwang said the carnival car display displayed by the Ministry of Defense on the eve of the August 17 celebrations was a symbol of the TNI's togetherness with the people, as well as proof of public acceptance.
This was evident in the public's enthusiasm for watching the Defense Ministry's carnival parade of cars in the Monas area.
"The public's warmth and enthusiasm were clearly visible, confirming that the TNI's presence is always eagerly awaited," Frega.
During the event, the Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) displayed carnival cars in the shape of modern warships decorated with LED ornaments, replicas of defense equipment, a Tiger tank, three-dimensional soldiers, and a figure of Gatot Kaca.
