For its part, Al-Qahira News Channel quoted unnamed sources as saying that Cairo is intensifying its contacts with all parties to resolve the points of contention and reach a ceasefire agreement to end the war. The channel confirmed that meetings between the Hamas delegation and Egyptian officials are continuing.
