The Indonesian U-17 women's national team is in Group C with Myanmar, Mongolia, and Macau in the qualifying round of the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup which will take place on October 13-17, 2025.
This information was announced via the official AFC Women's Football account on platform X (formerly Twitter), @TheAWCL, on Thursday, with a total of 27 participating countries now divided into eight groups, each consisting of three to four countries.
Group C will be hosted by Myanmar, which will host three other teams, including Indonesia. This group will be one of eight competing for a place in the next round of the AFC U-17 Women's Championship 2026.
Meanwhile, host Tajikistan leads Group A alongside the Philippines, Malaysia, and Syria. Group B, which will be held in Saudi Arabia, features Iran, Lebanon, Kuwait, and the host.
In Group D, Vietnam hosts and will face Hong Kong and Guam.
Group E, which only consists of three teams, will take place in Singapore and bring together Australia, Singapore and the Northern Mariana Islands.
Meanwhile, Group F will be contested in Thailand, which will also face Nepal and Turkmenistan.
In Group G, India will compete against Uzbekistan and host Kyrgyzstan. Meanwhile, Group H, held in Jordan, will feature matches against Bangladesh and Chinese Taipei.
The group winners will advance to the second qualifying round, scheduled for 2026. The tournament will be part of the pathway to the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2026 in China, a major tournament that also serves as a qualifier for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
