Indonesian national team captain and center back Jay Idzes has reportedly agreed to a personal contract until 2029 with Italian Serie A club Torino.
Italian transfer specialist journalist Nicolo Schira, via his official X account @NicoSchira, reported on Thursday that Idzes will reportedly receive a salary of one million euros per year.
Torino are currently in negotiations with the player's parent club, Venezia, to finalize a transfer worth eight to nine million euros plus bonuses.
Besides Torino, two other Serie A clubs, Sassuolo and Genoa, are also reportedly interested in the Dutch-born defender. However, Torino currently leads the race.
The Indonesian-born player named Jay Noah Idzes was born in Mierlo, Netherlands, on June 2, 2000. He started his professional career with FC Eindhoven, then joined Go Ahead Eagles, and since 2023 has strengthened Venezia in the second tier of the Italian League (Serie B).
