French winger Kingsley Coman has officially left Bayern Munich to join Saudi Arabian League club Al-Nassr.
"Al-Nassr has officially signed French player Kingsley Coman, with the contract running until 2028," Al-Nassr announced on their X account on Saturday.
This transfer adds to the list of star players who are enlivening the competition in Saudi Arabia.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al-Nassr have agreed a transfer fee of 30 million euros (Rp567 billion) with Bayern Munich for the 29-year-old.
This transfer marks a major step for Al-Nassr in strengthening their squad for the 2025/26 season.
Kingsley Coman has been a key part of Bayern Munich since joining from Juventus in 2015, initially on loan before making the move permanent in 2017.
During his career at Bayern, Coman made over 200 appearances across various competitions, contributing a number of important goals and assists.
One of his highlight moments was scoring the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. However, in recent seasons, recurring injuries and stiff competition for Bayern's attacking options have reduced his playing time.
Coman's arrival at Al-Nassr is expected to strengthen the team's attacking power, especially with his speed, dribbling, and technical ability, which have been proven at the highest level of European football.
He will partner the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wesley Teixeira and Sadio Mane, creating an attack that has the potential to be one of the most fearsome in world football.
