Joao Palhinha will undergo a medical in Germany on Friday as part of a planned move to Tottenham Hotspur, on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich.
The deal includes a permanent purchase option at the end of the season for €30 million (approximately Rp. 564.6 billion). Under the terms of the deal, Tottenham will cover the player's full salary.
Several mainstream British media outlets that Tottenham were in talks with Bayern regarding Palhinha's loan deal.
The Portuguese midfielder was put on Bayern's transfer list this summer, but Tottenham opted for a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer.
Palhinha joined Bayern last summer for 51 million euros (Rp 960.2 billion) after two successful seasons with Fulham. However, he only made 25 appearances for Vincent Kompany's side, 10 of them as a starter.
