PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat's corporate action to acquire the Satria Muda Pertamina basketball team has implications not only for the transfer of team ownership, but also the merger of several Prawira Bandung players into SM.
"From the Mahaka Group, we were acquired by Persib, so we moved to Bandung," said Satria Muda Pertamina Manager Theodore Wira Adi in Jakarta, Wednesday.
According to Wira, this acquisition is something the club has done before. Persib's acquisition of Satria Muda marks the second for the team with a long history in the Indonesian basketball league.
