The Indonesian U-21 women's national volleyball team acknowledged the toughness of the Vietnamese national team which defeated them 0-3 (15-25, 16-25, 18-25) in the opening match of Pool A of the 2025 U-21 World Volleyball Championship which took place at the Jawa Pos Arena, Surabaya, East Java.
This defeat was a heavy blow for the team coached by Marcos Sugiyama, because they had to submit in front of their own fans.
In another match, Argentina beat Canada in three straight sets, 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-15) in the opening match.
