The government, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has formulated a Norms, Standards, Procedures, and Criteria policy to strengthen the development of special service sports for people with disabilities, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.
"Without the NSPK, efforts to advance special service sports will not be optimal," said Dadi Surjadi, Assistant Deputy for Special Service Sports at the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, in a written statement.
The NSPK drafting activity took place at the Golden Boutique Hotel Melawai, Jakarta, on August 11–13, 2025. This activity was held by the Assistant Deputy for Sports Special Services of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports and involved a number of stakeholders across ministries/institutions and communities.
