Tijuana, August 11.- As part of the projects contemplated within the new administration headed by Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, Mayor-elect of Tijuana, who will take office on October 1, plans are to reactivate the city's tourism sector.
Tijuana has been characterized by its hospitality and culinary diversity, earning it national and international recognition. In this regard, the city's next mayor hopes to work with this sector, which is so important to the local economy.
"We will join forces with the State Tourism Secretariat and the Federal Government to attract tourism projects to our city that will allow us to regain our reputation as one of the most hospitable cities in the area," the Mayor emphasized.
He also noted that as a local authority, he will work hard to improve roads, organize commerce in the city's tourist areas, and support local entrepreneurs who are directly and indirectly involved in this sector.
