As roads damaged by flash floods in Yuzhong, northwest China's Gansu Province, are gradually repaired, relief efforts are underway.

According to transportation authorities in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province, which covers Yuzhong, roads to the affected areas reopened. The effort involved more than 700 rescue personnel and over 200 machines and vehicles.
Power was restored to affected residents on Saturday evening, according to the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company. A total of 73 rescue vehicles, 42 generators, three power generating vehicles, and 330 repair workers were deployed to ensure power supply in the affected areas.
Mountainous rain, triggering flash floods, began lashing Yuzhong and other areas of Lanzhou local time, with precipitation reaching 220.2 millimeters.Rescue efforts and searches for missing people are ongoing.
