In a similar statement, Saudi Arabia condemned in the "strongest terms" the approval of settlement construction around occupied Jerusalem, considering it a continuation of illegal expansionist policies and a serious threat to the two-state solution.

For its part, Qatar described the move as a "flagrant violation" of international legitimacy resolutions and stressed the need for the international community to take action to compel Israel to halt its settlement plans.

Egypt also condemned the announcement of the construction of 3,400 settlement units, considering it a "flagrant violation" of international law and Security Council resolutions, and warned against changing the demographic structure of the occupied territories.

Jordan, for its part, rejected the plan, considering it "an attack on the Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state," while the Organization of Islamic Cooperation described the settlement project as "illegal colonialism that must be ended immediately."

Internationally, Germany expressed its categorical rejection of the plan, stressing that the construction of settlements violates international law.
