Tijuana, August 20.- The head of government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, announced the arrest of three people who directly participated in the murder of her collaborators Ximena Guzmán and José Muñoz, an incident that occurred three months ago today.
The arrest took place early Wednesday morning, in coordination with the Mexican government, in an operation in which 10 other people were apprehended who participated in the planning of the murder of the former private secretary and general coordinator of advisors.
The capital's leader highlighted the coordination between the federal government and the Mexico City government and thanked President Claudia Sheinbaum for her collaboration.
In a brief address at the Old City Hall, the capital's president indicated that details of the police operation will be revealed at 5:00 p.m. during a press conference at the Attorney General's Office in the capital.
He emphasized that the police action was carried out with the participation of the citizen security secretariats and local and federal prosecutors' offices, as well as the support of the National Defense and Navy.
"This government will not rest until the truth is known and justice is served," said Brugada Molina, who reiterated his government's commitment to working tirelessly for security and justice in Mexico City.
