The flotilla, which set sail from Barcelona, Spain, on its way to Gaza in an effort to "break the Israeli blockade" of the Gaza Strip, stated that "a second boat from our fleet, the Alma, was attacked by a drone while anchored in Tunisian waters."
He added in a statement on his Instagram page that the strike caused a fire on the deck of the ship, which was quickly extinguished without anyone being harmed.
According to the statement, the British-flagged boat "Alma" was targeted in Tunisian waters off Sidi Bou Said, a northern suburb of Tunis.
The statement explained that the boat "suffered damage from a fire on its upper deck. The fire has since been extinguished, and all passengers and crew members are safe."
