Tijuana, October 18. The Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut) will host "Estampida de lobos," a play that "addresses the issue of femicide and the disappearance of women," according to its author, Rodolfo Álvarez Leyva.
The play tells the story of Josefina, a single mother who seeks to provide education and training for her only daughter, Pita, until she disappears from Josefina's life. She embarks on a tireless search that will take her back to her native Tijuana.
The cast includes Liliana Moreno Reynoso, who plays Josefina, and Anabella Ortiz and Liliana Díaz, who alternate roles, bringing the character of Pita to life. Rodolfo Álvarez is in charge of the script and direction.
In the musical field, soprano Norma Navarrete and guitarist Jorge López participate.
