Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in the US Open semifinals with a score of 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-2 to reach his seventh major tournament final and second in New York.
In a match that lasted two hours and 25 minutes at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Alcaraz avenged his losses to Djokovic at this year's Australian Open and the 2024 Paris Olympics to stay on track for his sixth Grand Slam title and return to the world No. 1 ranking.
"It feels amazing. Once again in the US Open final, it feels amazing," Alcaraz said after the match, as broadcast by the ATP.
