Apple launches new products, including the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air

Technology company Apple launched new products, including the iPhone 17 series, the super-thin iPhone Air phone, the Apple Watch 11 series of smartwatches, and AirPods Pro 3.

The device that was in the spotlight at the annual launch event held at Apple Park, Cupertino, California, United States, was the iPhone Air which is only 0.22 inches thick and weighs 165 grams.

As quoted in The New York Times broadcast , Apple CEO Tim Cook at the launch event introduced the iPhone Air as a masterpiece of engineering that redefines portability and performance.

"It's not just about being thinner, but about providing a better experience for our users," Cook said.

The iPhone Air is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made by Apple.

This device is equipped with an A19 Pro chip designed for energy efficiency, an N1 chip to support connectivity, and Thread to connect with IoT (Internet of Things) devices such as smart home devices.

"This new iPhone Air is so powerful, yet so incredibly thin and light, that you have to actually hold it to believe it," said Apple's Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus.

However, the iPhone Air only has one rear camera lens and only supports eSIM use.
