Indonesian women's singles badminton player Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi has decided to retire from the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center to continue her career as a professional player.
"Komang will continue his career as an independent player. PBSI would like to thank Komang for his dedication during his time at the national training center and wishes him the best for his future endeavors," PBSI said in an official statement on Thursday.
Komang's decision adds to the list of national training players who have chosen the independent route this year, after Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo took similar steps last May.
