At the AI pavilion at the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), staff from Indonesian company KATA.AI demonstrated the interactive features of intelligent robots on the KataCX platform.
The intelligent robot is not only able to provide solutions to customer questions, but can also adjust services to suit various needs, thus attracting many visitors.
The 22nd CAEXPO was held from September 17 to 21 in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with the theme "Empowering Development with Digitalization and Innovation -- Seizing New Opportunities of Version 3.0 of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area to Build a Community with a Shared Future".
More than 3,200 domestic and foreign companies participated in the event, covering a total exhibition area of nearly 160,000 square meters. This year, CAEXPO opened its first 10,000-square-meter AI pavilion, featuring nearly 200 leading companies and innovation teams in the AI field.

Entering the pavilion area, nearly 200 companies and teams from China, including Huawei, Unitree Robotics, and iFlytek, showcased more than a thousand cutting-edge products and technologies, showcasing the application of AI in various sectors.
In addition to Chinese companies, several companies from ASEAN countries are also participating in the AI theme. This year, the Indonesian Telecommunications and Information Association (APHI) is bringing several member companies to its pavilion, focusing on the utilization of AI technology, data centers, and cloud services. They hope to share experiences and foster exchanges with China.
Indonesian company Aisemsum CEO Vivek Thomas said that his company's AI platform is capable of providing comprehensive support for companies, from creating business plans to diagnosing problems.
"With this platform, Chinese companies can better explore and develop overseas markets," he said.

Chinese products like boxing robots, smart glasses that can translate and navigate, and big data AI for the industrial and agricultural sectors caught Vivek Thomas's attention. He held numerous in-depth discussions with leaders of Chinese AI companies to gain a clearer understanding of the technology's applications in various fields.
"This exhibition brings together cutting-edge products and technologies from various countries, providing a wealth of inspiration. The comprehensive display of China's advanced technologies at CAEXPO this year is particularly impressive," said Vivek Thomas.
