Club not for sale, Tottenham reject Staveley and China takeover bids

Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the club is not for sale after its board of directors firmly rejected two acquisition bids, including from Amanda Staveley's PCP International Finance and a consortium of Chinese investors through Firehawk Holdings Limited.

"The Club Board and ENIC confirm that Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and ENIC has no intention of accepting any offer to acquire their ownership in the club," the club management wrote in an official statement.

The statement also stated that Tottenham had firmly rejected two initial offers to purchase all of ENIC's issued and future shares, both from PCP International Finance and from a consortium of investors led by Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng through Firehawk Holdings Limited.

Previously, PCP, led by Amanda Staveley, had confirmed its interest in acquiring Spurs. However, the company confirmed it would not proceed with the acquisition process.

Speculation about a potential acquisition arose after Staveley was seen attending several matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of last season.
