Dozens of martyrs and hundreds wounded in Israeli shelling targeting homes and civilian gatherings in Gaza.

The ministry added in a statement that "the death toll among Palestinian aid recipients has risen to 2,566 martyrs and 18,769 wounded since May 27."

More than 30 Palestinians have been killed and others wounded since dawn on Sunday in separate Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, and direct fire on inhabited homes and civilian gatherings, including sites where aid workers were waiting, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.

In the central Gaza Strip, shelling of the Nuseirat refugee camp resulted in the deaths of seven Palestinians from the Abu Amer family, including children. Three others from the al-Hasayneh family were killed, and others were wounded in separate raids on al-Bureij. A Palestinian was also killed by Israeli gunfire near the Netzarim junction while waiting for aid.

In the northern Gaza Strip, the shelling focused on Gaza City, killing at least six people, including victims in the Nasr neighborhood and Aydiya Street near the Shifa Hospital, amid difficulties recovering the bodies.

The occupation army also continued to destroy residential buildings in the Sabra neighborhood, coinciding with raids on the Al-Nasr and Al-Shati neighborhoods.

In the southern Gaza Strip, medical sources confirmed the deaths of four Palestinians, including two who were waiting for aid near distribution centers north of Rafah and the al-Tina area in Khan Yunis. Two others were killed in shelling, the details of which are unknown.

The Gaza Municipality said one of its employees was killed on Saturday while delivering water to residents east of the city, considering the targeting of civilian workers a "flagrant violation of international law."

In the same context, hospitals in the Gaza Strip reported that an infant died as a result of malnutrition and lack of medical treatment, amid the ongoing blockade and deteriorating humanitarian conditions.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving 65,926 martyrs and 167,783 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.

Israel has occupied Palestine and territories in Syria and Lebanon for decades, and refuses to withdraw from these areas and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, along the pre-1967 borders.
