The ministry reported in a statement that it had recorded five deaths due to famine and malnutrition within 24 hours, bringing the total number of famine victims to 447, including 147 children.
Since the IPC declared famine in the Gaza Strip on August 22, 2025, 162 deaths have been recorded, including 32 children.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army has killed 27 Palestinians, including four children, in separate attacks on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Sunday. This coincided with the detonation of booby-trapped robots targeting homes in the northern neighborhoods of Gaza City. The army renewed its warning to Palestinians to evacuate the city and head to the southern part of the Strip.
This comes as the Israeli occupation army continues its nearly two-year-long war of extermination against the Gaza Strip, and its efforts to reoccupy Gaza City and displace Palestinians from it.
Northern Gaza Strip
Israeli airstrikes focused on Gaza City, killing at least 14 Palestinians. In the al-Daraj neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, the Israeli occupation forces killed eight Palestinians and wounded dozens more after shelling a civilian gathering near the Hamza Mosque. Five others were killed in a shelling of the al-Haddad family home.
In the al-Tuffah neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, quadcopter drones fired at homes near the al-Aybaki Mosque and bombed other areas east of Gaza City, without causing any casualties.
In the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city, a Palestinian woman was killed and several others were injured when a civilian gathering was targeted. The situation on the ground remained difficult, with Israeli vehicles moving east of the al-Dahdouh roundabout under heavy fire, coinciding with ongoing artillery shelling and widespread bombing of homes and facilities.
In the evening hours, the Israeli occupation forces launched a series of air and artillery raids on homes in the Al-Shati refugee camp and the Sheikh Radwan and Tal Al-Hawa neighborhoods, north and south of Gaza City.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city, the Israeli occupation army blew up residential buildings surrounding the intelligence towers and dropped flares, while displacement operations continued.

On Tuesday, the army announced it had launched a "large-scale ground operation" across Gaza City, with the participation of regular and reserve forces from the 98th, 162nd, and 36th Divisions. However, according to field evidence and local sources, no actual ground incursion was observed until Wednesday evening in the city's northern neighborhoods.
Thus, the Israeli occupation army has a ground presence in several axes in Gaza City: the northern one around the "rocket" junction at the intersection of Al-Jalaa and Al-Saftawi streets, the northeastern one around the schools around the Baraka area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, the northwest one around the Al-Karama neighborhood, the southwestern one near the Al-Dahdouh junction on "Street 8" and around the university college, the eastern one in the neighborhoods of Shuja'iyya and Al-Tuffah, and the south one in the neighborhoods of Al-Zeitoun and Al-Sabra.
On August 8, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip, starting with Gaza City, home to approximately one million Palestinians.
Central Gaza Strip
Israeli attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians. In the Bureij refugee camp, the death toll rose from 7 Palestinians, including 4 children, to 8 when the Israeli occupation army shelled a civilian gathering near a UNRWA medical clinic. Others were injured.
In the town of Al-Maghraqa, north of Nuseirat, a Palestinian was killed as a result of shelling of a civilian gathering. The army also carried out bombing operations against residential buildings, without recording any casualties. Meanwhile, Israeli vehicles opened fire around the Wadi Gaza Bridge. Near the Wadi Gaza area, a Palestinian was killed by Israeli army fire.
Southern Gaza Strip
Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of at least three Palestinians. In Khan Yunis, the Israeli occupation army killed three Palestinian aid seekers near the Morag axis, and three Palestinians were injured in an Israeli shelling targeting a group of citizens in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving 65,283 martyrs and 166,575 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 440 Palestinians, including 147 children.
