Ensenada, April 29. With the 2025 Tourism Fair as the setting, Mayors Claudia Agatón Muñiz and Milena Quiroga Romero signed an agreement to establish a twinning agreement between the municipalities of Ensenada and La Paz , Baja California Sur.
Agatón Muñiz celebrated this agreement, which will result in the official twinning of two cities on the Baja California Peninsula that share similarities that allow for cooperation in economic , cultural, tourism, social, and technological research and development issues.
"In Ensenada, we have a very special affection for La Paz ; historically, we've had a close relationship. This twinning agreement we signed today strengthens those ties and establishes a path of cooperation for the strategic development of both municipalities," he stated.
In the same vein, Quiroga Romero described this agreement as a success, since, although cooperation already exists on some issues, everything related to tourism and technological development can be strengthened .
