Fidan discusses developments in Gaza with his Qatari and Jordanian counterparts and heads to Doha to participate in an extraordinary summit.

According to Turkish diplomatic sources, Fidan will head to Doha tomorrow, Sunday, to participate in the ministerial meeting preparatory to the summit, where the ministers will discuss the draft resolution to be submitted to the leaders.

In his speech at the meeting, Fidan is expected to affirm Ankara's full solidarity with Doha in the face of the recent Israeli attack, emphasizing that Israel not only targeted peace efforts but also violated Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He will also reiterate the warning that the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu's government do not seek a ceasefire in Gaza, but rather threaten the security of the entire region and aim to destroy the two-state solution, according to the same sources.

The Turkish Foreign Minister will call for coordinated regional and international efforts to ensure a firm response against Israel, and for concrete measures to be taken in parallel with the announcement by a growing number of countries of their intention to recognize the State of Palestine.
