For "security reasons," the UAE bans Israeli companies from participating in the Dubai Airshow.

Yedioth Ahronoth quoted an unnamed informed Israeli source on Wednesday as saying that Abu Dhabi had sent an official letter to Tel Aviv informing it that companies would not be permitted to participate in the security exhibition.

The source stated that the decision was made for "security reasons," but other Israeli officials suggested that it was directly related to the airstrike in Doha, according to the newspaper.

The Dubai Airshow is one of the most prominent defense events in the region and the world, with Israeli companies participating since the normalization agreement was signed between the two sides in 2020.

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed arrived in Doha on Wednesday for a solidarity visit with Qatar following the attack, amid ongoing Arab and international condemnation and calls for urgent Arab and international action to deter Israel.
