Google is reportedly expanding the content of its "Discover Feed" service, which will now not only be limited to articles from across the web but also come from social media posts such as platform X and Instagram.
Additionally, Google also plans to integrate some content from video platforms such as YouTube Shorts to enrich the types of content displayed in the "Discover Feed".
As reported by The Verge, Wednesday (17/9) local time, "Discover Feed" is a service that can be found on the initial display when opening the Google application and the content is the result of personalization of user activity when browsing various websites.
Although Google is still limiting which social media platforms will be displayed initially, more social media platforms will be added in the future.
"In our research, people say they enjoy seeing a variety of content in Discover, including videos and social posts, in addition to articles," Google said in its announcement.
