Mathew Baker signs his first professional contract with Melbourne


 Indonesian U-17 national team player Mathew Baker has officially signed his first contract with Melbourne City, with a three-year contract and an option for a two-season extension.


"Melbourne City FC is proud to announce that talented young defender Mathew Baker has signed his first professional contract," wrote Melbourne City, quoted from their official website, Tuesday.


Baker began his career in the City Football Schools program before earning a place in the Club's Academy in 2021. Since then, his development has been rapid, with dedication, maturity and consistent performances seeing him progress quickly.
