Not only qualifying, the national futsal team has a dream of winning the World Cup

The Indonesian Futsal Federation has a long-term dream of Indonesia winning the Futsal World Cup in the future, taking gradual steps to achieve international success.

"My long-term dream is the World Cup. Not just qualifying, but winning the World Cup," said FFI Chairman Michael Sianipar in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Michael believes that Indonesia has a good chance of winning the World Cup.

"Whether it's 2040, 2050, or 2045, it will be Indonesia's centenary of independence," Michael continued.

The long-term target of the FFI is still achievable considering the current quality of the Indonesian National Futsal Team.

Based on FIFA ranking data as of August 29, Indonesia is ranked 23rd in the world, above several European countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, and African and South American countries.
